What's the difference between Part 61 and Part 141?+
Part 61 is flexible and student-paced with a higher minimum flight hour requirement. Part 141 is FAA-structured with a syllabus, typically allowing you to finish in fewer flight hours.
How long does it take to get my Private Pilot License?+
Most full-time students finish in 3–6 months. Part-time students typically take 6–12 months. Pace depends on weather, scheduling, and study commitment.
Do I need a medical certificate to start?+
You can begin training without a medical, but you'll need at least a Third-Class FAA Medical Certificate before your first solo flight.
Do you accept international students?+
Yes. Global Aviation Center is authorized to enroll international students and issue the I-20 for the M-1 Visa.
What aircraft do you train in?+
Our training fleet is built around well-maintained single-engine Piper and Cessna aircraft equipped for both VFR and IFR training.
